I am the OP. They did not have my original license, but not any credit cards or credit information. The ID theft was not financial in that no money was stolen or obligated in my name. Only the valid DL number. It was a head scratcher for me as well as the numerous LEO's with whom I was required to filed reports. The whole thing happened within a few weeks of my license being coped by a car dealership when I test drove a new car. Coincidental? I don't know. But I never got the copy back.
