Yep, like others have said you seem to be confusing the term "insurance" with "extended warranty".
I managed to get lucky and insurance did cover water damage for me. Long Story...
After taking delivery of my new trailer, bringing it home and parking it for a few months, when getting ready to use it I checked the tire pressures. When checking I found one of the tires was "C" rated and the others were "D" rated. Called the manufacturer and they sent me a complete rim and tire for replacement. Fast forward two years. Suddenly have a soft spot in the floor right behind the location that had the "wrong" tire in place. Take it to an RV repair place and there is no leak from the top. It seems when the unit was being towed in from Indiana, it must have blown the original tire and tore things open underneath the trailer. Towing in rain blew water up into the floor where it eventually rotted the floor out.
The insurance company tried the "It's a water leak and you didn't do proper maintenance" argument. I fought back with photo's of the underside of the trailer where the leak was and letters from the manufacturer saying there should be no routine maintenance of that area.
