I grew up in Bloomington Illinois, which is where the home office for State Farm Insurance is located. You would think that many of my friends and relatives that live in that area would use them for their insurance needs.
Well, you would be wrong. No one that actually shops around uses them anymore. They generally have the highest rates of any insurance company.
It amazes me that folks will drive across town to buy gasoline .02 a gallon cheaper but will stay with the same insurance agent for 20 years and probably spend an extra $10,000.00 over that time span for expensive insurance.
