That's funny. "We'll rip you off until you do something about it". Nice.

Shop around but be aware price isn't the only thing to consider. Make sure they have good customer service and good claims service.

Years ago an insurance company I had wanted to put junkyard parts on a less than a year old car.

A couple of years ago my neighbor backed into my car. I chose to use my own insurance company and have them go after her's so I wouldn't have to deal with her insurance company. My insurance company did everything right, the repair was perfect and immediate, but the other insurance (geico) took almost six months to pay the claim. And that was considering there was no doubt the accident was her fault!

Insurance rates will increase based on claim experience, change in age bracket, claim experience for item insured, and change in location.

Was with National Interstate for 7 yrs....only one increase and that was minor and due to change of 'address'. Had 2 claims

we had insurance agents in our family and they all have told me the same thing. don't keep an agent forever. pays to shop every few years. big savings.

I also think collision coverage (for damage to my RV) should decrease with age. At 10 years old, I figure they would pay out practically nothing if it was totalled. So I don't bother paying for collision coverage. I seriously wonder about comprehensive coverage as well. No claims for theft or fire or windshield in 40 years suggests it isn't for me.

I'd shop around. Every 3-5 years, it seems that swapping insurance companies is a good idea because of the rate hikes for no real reasons.

Just make sure you have the coverage you need. I've seen some insurance companies insure a class "B" RV as a bare van, where none of the upfits done would be covered.

Around 10 years ago I moved ALL my policies from State Farm to an Independent Insurance Agent. I got better coverage (more coverage, smaller deductibles) and saved around $1300 per year. Might be time for you to consider another carrier.

We had State farm since 1984 for everything. no claims ever.Finally got tired of the continual increases for no apparent reasons. reduced my insurance bills by 50% with other top rated companies. State Farm wants to be a bank not an insurance company apparently they could care less about losing 30 yr customers.
