We have Allstate insurance on a 10 year old fifth wheel. We had some body damage to the fifth wheel on a trip and it has been estimated to be about $5000 to fix it perfect, or about $3000 to fix it ...

Why do you carry Insurance on it IF you aren't going to file a claim/have it fixed after damage.....substantial damage :H
Now if damage was minor....close to deductible OK BUT $3000/$5000
File a claim and use that Insurance you have been paying coverage for.
