We live more than an hour's drive from the closest store of any kind. We have an ongoing list on the kitchen door. It is a white grease board and any time anyone says "mom, I need...." I tell them to write it on the list. Then just before leaving for town, I use my cellphone to take a picture of the list. Sometimes, I send it to my husband if he is in another part of the store or goes somewhere without me. Since employing this method, I have never forgotten my list at home. Also, I use the camera on my phone to remember prices on stuff in stores, DIY projects I see, and other stuff I want to remember. How did I ever live without my cell?!
