The average home toilet in the 1970's used about 5 gallons per flush. Now it is about 1.6 gallons per flush, with some twin lever units using 1/2 that amount when only water is flushed, and you remember to hit the correct lever.
Compare that to my 1972 camper, with about 2 ounces per flush, and today's RV's are about the same.
I would stretch 100 gallons to about 2 weeks while I was full timing. I only used about 400 cubic feet per two month billing period when I lived in a condo in Garden Grove CA, that is about 3,200 gallons per month.
Yes sticks and bricks use a lot more water!
