Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm these days.
We winter in the Florida Keys and bounce back and forth between the four state parks there.

We see what you are describing on a daily basis.

What we see the most of is the dog owners walking their dogs to other people sites to let them do their business.

I'm sure if you were not there, it would have not got cleaned up.

Unfortunately, rudeness/stupidity is not limited to campers. It's society in general.

Just for informational and demographic purposes, what are the approximate age of people doing these things?

The dog thing would be annoying. Washing the rig wouldn't as long as the rules didn't forbid it.

Yes sorry, didn't mention that. The guy washing his rig at the dump station had two rigs behind him waiting to dump.

Much of this falls back to parenting or the lack thereof. The mid - late sixties is the root time when some of this started. The era of NAM, free love, and societal values change. It's hard to blame these younger folks as the apple never falls far from the tree.

Yes, you can. I've found if you POLITELY explain what they are doing wrong quite often you get an apology, "I didn't know", or some other POLITE response. All to often we just gripe about it and assume they are just idiots. Many are but not all. Why not give the benefit of the doubt and try to fix it instead of just whining about it?

And the generations before you said the same thing. I see plenty of people that are well past that age whose attitude is "I'm old, I can do what I want". The different generations are no better or worse-we just choose to see what we want to and ignore the rest. Guess I'm just done with all the complaining. Let's start looking for the good instead of always ranting about the bad.

I disagree. You can fix it. You fix it by pushing back and politely but firmly informing the offending party that their behaviour is NOT acceptable.

If we all did that to those who behave this way the peer pressure would have some affect. Trouble is too many are easily intimidated and fear confrontation...and by confrontation I mean coming face to face with someone and letting them know how you feel.
