Yikes! Just figured out our water usage but it's for 3 people. Based on two people we are at 4510/month, below average. There are multiple things that can be done. Don't run water while brushing teeth, make sure the dishwasher/washing machine is full, wear an item multiple times before washing (outwear like sweatshirts or sweaters don't need to be washed after each wearing), don't over-water lawns, turn water off while washing dishes, and my favorite from conservation camp: If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down. Yucky to some but saves a whole lot of water. Low-flow toilets and shower heads help as well.
