Jeep Cherokee

Looking for advise wrt towing a Jeep Cherokee 4 wheels down. Pros & cons would be appreciated from anyone with experience with this vehicle. We are looking at 2016 model with the 3.2L Pentastar V6 ...

You are correct.
Only 4 x 4 with Active Drive II can be towed 4 wheels down.
A lot of Cherokee models come with Active Drive I and/or 4 x 2 and none of them are towable.
