But, we got that Jeep, a flawless 2 year old for right at $41K out the door. And we got factory warranty for a 3 years and 40K miles. As stated, the same exact Jeep, outfitted with the same exact packages, would have been just over $47K. So, we saved around $6K-$7K and got a flawless, never used off road, spotless, factory warrantied Jeep JKUR.

Thanks for the reply. $41K for a used Wrangler? Yikes! If it only costs $6K more I'll get one new. I've worked hard for 40 years. I deserve it and I can afford it. It looks pretty nice. I priced one new on their website for about $26K. That was a 2-door. I'll probably get a 4-door. I don't need a lot of fancy schmancy stuff. If it's got cruise control and bluetooth I'm good. I can probably get that new for $30K. And I'll probably lease if it has an option to buy at the end and the price calculation is fair.

Steve,
You're welcome. This is one of those things that, you simply make a choice and go for it. When looking for cars/trucks/Jeeps/motorcycles/motorhomes, etc., some folks go for the top of the line and pay what they pay. Some, go for mid range and some, are happy with the base units of all of those. There is no right or wrong, only what you're happy with. Yes, we were close, as in $6K - $7K from a new one. But, as stated, we got the same exact Jeep as a brand new one, for that much less and, acquired a substantial factory warranty to boot. So, I mean, why pay the $6K-$7K more for the same Jeep and the same warranty?
Yep, you can get a baseline Jeep Wrangler for the price you mentioned. To us, we thought like you. We figured we earned what we considered a "Higher end" Jeep. But, we have to run the fine line of what we can afford, as opposed to what we want. So, we compromised by getting a two year old that was close to the top of the line and still got warranty.
