When my front end went to squeaking at 58,000 miles on my Ranger I climbed under and found zero greases zerks on the upper and lower balls. I replaced the Motorcraft with Moog and greased it and eventually traded it in on a Wrangler.
Climb under a Jeep Wrangler sometime and you will see why they go where CRVs and Rangers and etc never will go without thousands of dollars of upgrades. I was recently shopping for a pickup and offered almost what I paid for my Wrangler. They hold value for some reason. Perhaps it is because there is nothing comparable.
To each his own.
