What Is A Veteran?


A "Veteran" whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve,
is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check

made payable to "The United States of America"

for an amount of "up to, and including
his life."



That is honor, and there are way too many people in this

country today, who no longer understand that fact.

Let's include firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement and all who lay their lives on the line daily so the rest of us can go rving in peace. Semper Fi, Hoo Raaaah and Keep 'em Flying!!

Something that annoys me - July 4th. I don't celebrate July 4th as that is only a date, I celebrate Independence Day! Thanks to our veterans and founding fathers, we have independence.

My fellow Americans,
What a great country we live in. Please remember freedom isn't free. So on the 4th take a moment to thank our Veterans, both past(I thank all of you), present, and those in the line of fire right now. Be safe and enjoy, God bless America!

Also we must thank the men & women, both past & present, that work their butts off and lay their life on the line fighting all these forest fires.

That's something that has always bugged me too. We don't celebrate 25th of December for example. I think it's either some communist plot or the dam democrats again.
