after just finishing our FL home state camping season with a 16 day trip to 4 state parks the dw and I noted 2 things 1. totally surprised at the number of very long trailers (like 30') being pulled...

I like dark skies but know I'll rarely find them in commercial RV parks. Most have tons of usually unattractive lights even before the first camper lights his site.
I actually do enjoy the decorating..since night sky likely isn't good anyway.
But to try to keep people happy, why not have lighting hours like noise hours? All lights off at 10 or 11 PM (or whenever the place goes to sleep)?
Those who don't like the light should look into blackout shades..as too much light is common in RV parks and probably won't change anytime soon.
