So what's the problem? Is she bringing the bison with her?
She was just expressing her rights. She has the right to congregate without a mask, the right to walk wherever she wants and the right to be stupid. Sad thing is that she will drive back to a community (perhaps) close to you and mingle with you and your family and friends.
LMAO! Well played! - down_homeExplorer III had read that earlier from a different source.Maybe the term should be Bambitis?
Wild animals have their own mind and some species are more tolerant that we would be if a wolf approached our child, which is like what Mama Buffalo saw. Humans are a chief predator and most wildlife on. They don't have human pets and aren't interested in petting us or vise versa. Having said that, I'll now contradict myself.Deer ground squirrels, squirrels rabbits, deer..and a buffalo behind a fence approached me to have his head scratched. We drove through a herd of Buffalo at Land Between the Lakes in the seventies I think. They were blocking the road part of the time and we kept pace with them. I wouldn't let the kids reach out and pet them, even as one or two or three even brushed the vehicle because you don't know the animals temperment and mood and tolerance.
They were not looking to photographed or have their ears scratched. - fj12ryderExplorer III

Imagine how much better that video would have been if only the "camera" was rotated properly for TV viewing!
You pay $1000 for a smartphone and yes, it is that dumb. - aguablancoExplorerDefinitely a Darwin Award Nominee. My favorite picture is one of a guy holding up a small, cute Grizzly cub saying, "Where's your mama little fella?" Of course, in the background, is Mama Griz charging the idiot. Here's good advice, NEVER approach any juvenile wildlife when out and about. You can bet mama isn't far away and she can certainly out run all of us.

I watched that on the news. Think she learned anything? :h
You wonder sometimes what people learn, I would think she did . I have never quite understood when I go into Yellowstone park what the attraction is with those buffalos that you have to be that close. From my truck window is good enough. - Dave_H_MExplorer III watched that on the news. Think she learned anything? :h
