that's a tad chilly! - LantleyNomadSimply unplugging TV will be sufficient no need to bring it in. TV's are not transported or warehoused in climate controlled conditions.
I have left my TV in the RV for the last 10 years without issue. - amandasgrammaExplorerWhere do you live????? NY...but does it get cold there? We live in central Oregon, temps drop to 20 below in the winter. We don't leave ours in the rig. LCDs WILL freeze.......believe me, I know..... We never got a good pic after that one winter.....it had a 1 1/2" strip of blank screen across the middle. Never recovered..... LCD clocks freeze, too. :( :(
on edit: DH says that the last TV we bought had a column talking about this....said it had a temp range...NO temps below 30 deg. F.... check it out. - camp-n-familyExplorerNavigation and radio screens in new cars don't get taken out for cold temps.
- JRS___BExplorerDon't be surprised if the picture is a little snowy for the first 15-30 minutes after you first turn it back on. The snow will go away.

Brrrr, Jerry - robsouthExplorer IICold will not harm the TV. Turning it on while very cold will. Let it come to reasonable room temps before turning it on and it will be fine.
- KD4UPLExplorer IILeave it in. Dealerships don't remove all the TV's from their units on the lot for the winter. New TV's are transported all over the country year around in unheated trucks and stored in unheated warehouses. The containers that bring them over from China aren't heated either.
Just don't try to turn it on when it's too cold.
