- acritzerExplorer IIYep. False alarm. They are Karrier and are radial.
- ajcal225Exploreryup. I probably would have done the same thing.
- acritzerExplorer IIOh ok. Maybe it's all fine. I just did a real quick look before leaving. Saw Loadstar and thought it might be wrong.
- ajcal225ExplorerWhat I find interesting is the Karrier radials still say "Load Star" on them.
Check the part # on the tire and compare it to what you ordered, and to google.
This is a Karrier radial in the image. - acritzerExplorer IIThis order was from trailer tire and wheels. Hopefully they will make the exchange easy

They are both made by Kenda. I *thought* Karriers are Radials and Load Star are bias, but I'm not 100% on that.
I'd check that to start..
Being a novice, that can be checked on the label right? R15 would be radial. D15 is bias?
Yes.
I just checked Kenda's website and confirmed karriers are radial, and load star are bias.
I'd be asking them to send the right tire..
http://www.kendatire.com/en/specialty/trailer/ - acritzerExplorer III specifically ordered radial so if you're right I'll be a little ticked. Have to check when I get home and then probably make a call to them tomorrow.

So yes, there is a difference - whether or not it matters or not is up to you. Bias trailer tires have been in use for years and years - Radials are more common these days - but people seem to report problems with both kinds.
Our last trailer had Kenda Karrier 14" Load Range D tires, which seemed to be nice heavy tires and we had no problems .... - ajcal225ExplorerThey are both made by Kenda. I *thought* Karriers are Radials and Load Star are bias, but I'm not 100% on that.
