Great, now we can buy tires on Ebay, and if you have a problem they will be there to service them. Sorry but that would not be my cup of tea.

I like to buy things like that from a national chain or large regional that services the area that I travel in. Someone said Discount Tire ordered a set for them. Which put them similar to Maxxis ST's, in that you my have to sit a couple days waiting to a replace tire sometime.

Tires should match or exceed the GAWR not actual weights when they are lighter. Next time out you might load it heavier or the next owner might load it heavier overloading the tires.

I ordered new G load capacity rims from Trailerwheelsandtires.com for $100 each. I am getting the Sailuns put on them later this week - $971 for four, mounted and balanced with metal valve stems - from Discount Tire. By weeks end, the damage from the Blow Max blow-out will be repaired and we will be back on the road- finally.

The OP's Montana likely has Tredit wheels which is what Keystone pretty much uses exclusively. You can go to Tredittire.com, match up your wheels by picture and read the capacity/specs.

Simply because Goodyear may pay for damage in the event of a blow-out is not enough for me to spend an additional $500. I have insurance on my camper which will pay for damage.

Thanks for all the replys, so far I'm probably going with the Sailun S637 @ 3750 lbs. just for peace of mind ..... if the wheels are rated for them. We'll see when we get the rig, not taking Keystones or the dealers word for it.

The Keystone specs for your trailer indicate you have 6000# axles. To keep the load capacity Keystone has established for your trailer tires your best option is the LT235/85R16G upgrade. There are numerous brands to select from. Ask your dealer for the upgrade before you sign the papers and then your certification label will be changed to reflect the upgrade size and recommended tire pressure.

I would weigh the unit.

As Jimnlin pointed out a lot of people are reporting the the Sailun S637 is performing well. It is an all steel ply tire similar to the GY G614 for a lot less money. Most likely does not however have the same backing that GY gives their tire users with failed tires. Chris

Thanks Chris but here's my delima as to your suggestion, I'm in So. Utah and the dealer is Pete's RV in Indiana. Yes I know, the PDI and checking everything prior to buying but Pete's beats my local dealer by $4,000 even with delivery, my dealer who won't budge on thier price......AND my bride has her heart and mind set on the "walnut" color interior. Been married 46 yrs. so lets just say I know better........

I already asked the saleman there if they would upgrade the tires and he said yes we can but Keystone WILL NOT give you a dime for the takeoffs in trade. So I will call again tomorrow and find out if the wheels are 110# rated, if so then I can install the G's when it gets here and sell the Marathons to someone with a lighter rig.....if possible. I will have to do some shopping now for the GY's ........Dave
