Maybe for some folks, all the "work" is recreation!
True story: I belonged to a religious organization (I'll keep it nameless), that had some pretty strict living standards. Well, their idea of "no work on Sunday" was something I took to heart and really, had no problems with. Then I decided to start a garden. About the only day of the week I could tinker around with that garden was Sunday afternoon. For me.... it was a lot of fun, playing in the dirt, planing seeds, weeding, you know.
Well, one day during one of their board meetings they called me in and wanted to know why I was "working" on Sunday? HUM? WORK? "WHATCH YOU TALKIN' 'Bout!"
You know, all that "WORK" you are doing in your garden on Sunday afternoon. OH MY... are these folks watching me in my private life? yup!
Well, as it turns out, this was basically a farming community and the folks in that (organization) were primarily farmers. To them a garden was "work". To me it was play and relaxation.
Needless to say, I did not stay with that (organization) much longer.
So you see, what some people call "work" others call "fun". So if someone wants to tinker around with their camper, adjust, change, modify, fix, re-fix, and fiddle, fiddle, fiddle,.... well ... maybe it's just the way they like to "relax" and have fun.
