I had a revision 8 months after the TKR due to the first knee being Cobalt/Chromium and turns out I am deathly allergic to Cobalt. Nobodies fault just my very bad luck. The second surgery was only marginally better than the first {which was a disaster as my body was rejecting knee # one before I was off of the table}.
The first surgery saw me at the VA for 17 days, the second 14 days popping opioids like breath mints. The physical terrorists did their best but it was a very bad situation from day one. Lots of stretching and muscle strengthening would be my best advice and...
Find out what they are putting in and make **** sure you will have no reaction to it. You do not want to go through what I did... trust me.
