Corps of Engineer Lake & park.
We got REAL Lucky and landed a reservation of a prime Lake spot (after labor Day, sites are first come first serve) so we stayed the week. Every day many were scoping out to see if we were leaving, wanting to secure our spot.
The point loop is so popular, that Thursday, saw several locals come in to secure spots with equipment, they left, I assume for work, too return on the weekend.
Sites have Electric ONLY, you have to work off you fresh water tanks and gray/black tanks. There is water available at the loops, just not at each site. One main dump station, with several lanes, at the head of the park. One loop I believe Ridge, I heard has washers & dryers for clothe washing if needed.
From what I hear the Lake spots get reserved 6 months in advanced and stay reserved. Boaters paradise --along with camping, hiking, Mtn Biking, fishing, relaxing.....
Truly a wonderful campground!
