- Iraqvet05ExplorerReminds me of Army life when I lived in the barracks. One guy got so mad he threw a cup of urine in a dryer full of uniforms and started the dryer again...do you know what dried, "toasted" urine smells like?

Here's another pet peeve. If there are six washers in the laundry room, do you really need to take all six of them?
Yes! I'm in and out in 40mins. But I've never had to use six washers at the same time, never had that much clothes, max is four. Don't need the whole day running for laundry. - noplace2Explorer

"It's Laundry" Yep, nothing more, so if some one isn't willing to wait until theirs is done, then within a couple of minutes if no one empties the washer or dryer, it's fair game for the next person. There is absolutely no way to know when they will return. :) It's selfish to expect others to wait until you get back. Just our opinion. :)
Agreed. You'll note that no one has yet objected to having their laundry removed if they're not there. Why anyone would get bent out of shape about it is beyond me. - 3oaksExplorer

I agree. It's rude and selfish of a person to tie up laundry machines when time has run out and they are not in use.Moderator wrote:

Best response on this thread. :) - TucsonJimExplorer IIIf you're not there when the dryer is done, or at least courteous enough to leave a note when you'll be back, I'm taking it out and using the machine if it's the only one available.
Here's another pet peeve. If there are six washers in the laundry room, do you really need to take all six of them? - ckwjlExplorerCourtesy also needs to be extended by those leaving their laundry unattended.
Dry: One minute.
Damp: Five minutes. - korbeExplorer

But that's what campgrounds are for. Are you referring to an RV park where people live? - korbeExplorerIf the machines are busy, then stick around. It's an assembly line. Move along. Move along.

Lighten up. It's LAUNDRY.
Yes it is laundry but when you come home from work and are trying to do laundry, and others leave there's in the machines it is frustrating, not everyone in a CG is on vacation.
