Lawn repair after rv drove on yard?

IMO - you're stuck with the mud.
Probably better than being stuck *in* the mud.

When it dries sufficiently consider "Turfblock" with a good base.
(Google "Turfblock" - or "Turfstone")
The parking area should be a few inches higher than the ground around it.

Then re-seed, and the grass will fill in (and over) the Turfblock.
After a couple of months, only you will know it's there (see pics on the sites).

Got hooked after testing it with a 40K lb fire apparatus at an apt complex.

I installed it in my front yard, and drive over it with truck & trailer to get to my side yard storage area.

While you're waiting on the dry-out, as others have suggested, go camping!..:)

Well, im going down a few inches to hard pack clay, then adding a few inches of crushed gravel and then tamping that down. Adding the pavers and some sand in between, tamping those down, then driving on it a bunch, and readjusting where it doesnt hold.

I have had some experience with pavers here.

Pavers will not hold if they do not have a good drained foundation.

Yup, thast what the front looks like, and thats just with my truck and a 6000lb trailer. im putting a 13000 pound trailer in there. lol.
Im currently cutting up my yard and putting pavers in so this wont happen.. I will post some pics here...

Thanks for the advice. I think will smooth it out as much as possible while its soaked, and im going to add some shale rock to it, which i guess allows airation in clay... Then i will keep the trailer off it. That concrete im standing on is a 12x12 slab that the wheels of my camper sit on. That area i am taking a picture of we technically do not have to drive on. There is an area in front of the slab that we do drive on and im getting ready to put pavers in the front where we drive the most.

Is that part of the driveway in front? Why not fill with limestone rock?

Its not. Its the beginning of my front yard. That slab im standing on is where the wheels sit of my camper. its only about 12' long.

Yes, yes it will. thats really not an option i want to pursue. lol

Rake it smooth while it is still wet. When it dries to where it doesn't gush water when you step on it, Seed it with a shade loving grass. It will still die under the RV unless you move it a lot. (Hint, this is your excuse to keep it out of there every possible weekend.

thats what im going to do... I will level it a bit while wet, going to add some shale rock. tamp it down a bit, reseed and then stay off it for awhile.

Concrete when it drys out. Mud problem will be there every year and will get worst. I had my driveway widen with cement and glad of it, no more mud and mess!

A properly designed drainage system comes first. This must also include removing about 4" to 5" of dirt from the driveway and the parking pad. Then, 2" gravel topped with 1" gravel.
The bottom line is that it's going to be expensive to do it right.

Move to western New York! The ground is so frozen this winter , that you couldn't do this damage with a tank!
