OTOH, some of the private campgrounds here in FL have "Park and Leave" programs.. You pay a fee for the month, park the RV there, and use it for 12 days out of the month. We've done this for years now, sometimes two months a year, and haven't had a problem when we have been absent. We just turn the AC off, lock the doors, and leave. No lights, nothing to make it look like we are there. I've never heard of any incidents occurring with other sites either. One of our friends left their passthrough open by mistake one week and it was exactly as they left it when they returned - nothing missing or even discernibly disturbed.
