Leaving camper unoccupied - help

^^^^^^^We have gone to the lake by my inlaws a few times and been disgusted with behavior somewhat similar to this. They have a cheap rate for the summer so people bring their trailers out in April, get a prime spot, and then leave them for the summer. Consequently the lake sites are full and there's no people around except some on weekends, and the only sites left available are lousy ones.

I can see the reasoning behind taking your trailer out and leaving it so you have a spot for the weekend, and I can understand it. But it does deny that spot to the people who would like to actually use that spot. IMO it's a tough call.
