The 1141 bulb has a single contact bayonet base (BA15S) and the 936 has a wedge base (T10 I believe). The 936 is also a much dimmer light than the 1141. The bulbs are not even close. I replaced my 1141 bulbs with 36-3528 LEDs and 18-5050 LEDs. You should not consider anything with fewer LEDs than these, more if you want them brighter. I bought mine on eBay.
If you have the fixtures like mine, 2 lights with a switch between them, about 4" x 8", squeeze the lens close to the switch and that should allow you to pull that end of the lens away from the base.
