Late Sept my finger tips turn white and the old damaged frostbite starts. RV is already packed by then and just waiting. Being foreigners we can only stay 182 days..(we bring our own money and don't want a job)
so we try and leave late so we can have less snow when we come back in April.

Outside of that your take home taxes are a lot lower in the U.S. At least that is what some of my counterparts that work in my company that moved south from Canada so have experienced both.
