Let it snow, let it snow!

Wow, Loulou...any more good news you can bring us :)

Last year we were running out of places to pile the snow. The fella next door started piling snow on our property in December.
According to the "old folk"...Mmmmmm! Just thinking how old are old folk? I will have to soon say "as us old folk" Anyway...apparently we are to have a much colder winter than last year.

Late Sept my finger tips turn white and the old damaged frostbite starts. RV is already packed by then and just waiting. Being foreigners we can only stay 182 days..(we bring our own money and don't want a job)
so we try and leave late so we can have less snow when we come back in April.
-35C, frozen broken sewer lines and water pipes are not my idea of retirement. Lolling about in Florida is more to my liking.

Looking forward to retirement and getting outta Florida. Too crowded in winter and way too hot and humid in summer. 358 days left but whose counting.

Snowing lightly here in Calgary now but moreso north and west of the city. Shorts and suntanning yesterday and parkas and freezing today. Supposed to be back to suntan weather by the weekend.

As much as I hate snow & winter, We're doing the opposite, leaving Sunday for New England, hope the weather cooperates.

When here is a lot of snow there is/are:

No mosquitoes ...

No pollen ...

No poison ivy ...

Skiing ...

Ice fishing ...
