Let it snow!

I live in the mountains of Southern California (yes, we have HIGH mountains here! ;) ) We often get our first snow the end of this month and cold temps through March/April...... but THEN... AAAHHHH!!! Spring springs!! then summer BBQs on the deck and parties outside overlooking the lake, etc., etc. I love it all! During the winter I am "forced" to concentrate on indoor stuff, like cooking, interior home repair/decor/changes, RELAXING!, etc. In my opinion (which is worth the second you need to read this) God gives us all the seasons to help us appreciate the others we have to experience while we are on this earth. the beauty of RVing is that we can LEAVE the season we have and experience the one we love somewhere else!!! :)

What is wrong with snow! I would like to camp at least once in the snow. We did drive home a couple years ago in the snow and it was beautiful.

Had our first snow yesterday and more today, it's great. Being a hard core skier I can hardly wait for enough to ski on. Should be here in a few more weeks.

We lived and worked most of our lives in perpetual summer...hate it! That's why we now live up here in the mountains of Ideehoo. Winter is upon us, put the studded tires on today....come on snow!!!! Supposed to be here Sunday....yippee:)

We like to travel with/for the seasons...South in the Winter and North in the Spring/Summer/Fall.

We just like to avoid the snow and cold when possible.

Roy&Lynne, I'm with you. Central Washington State has four very distinct seasons; here in Southeast VA it's a little less distinct, but we do have some transitions between the warm, HUMID summers and an damp, chilly winter. We have had one year where we had NO winter at all and that "sucked". We get a little snow most winters, just enough to throw everyone into a hilarious panic and the traffic a mess. But year-round summer? Not even year-round spring...spring was always my reward for getting through a cold, barren winter; fall is my reward for surviving another summer...only two good reasons for the heat BTW: vegetable gardens and swimming. Just saying.
