Let it snow!

In the northern plains, we still have a lot of crops to harvest. The weather is really making it a slow process. Every time it rains or snows, we have to stop a few days until the crops dry out. Winter iis for December and later :-)

Got some here, last night, too. Just enough to stick on cars and remind you of what's coming. Snow SUCKS! Cold SUCKS! Hate it!! Rather be too warm than too cold. Wouldn't be so bad if it were only for a few weeks, but here it sets in for the next 4-5 months. Brrrrrrrrr.......

Snow is okay when you're going out to play in it; snow just makes chores harder to get done. Oppressive heat and humidity is no better.

I could send you some in a small cooler if you feel you need some, LOL!

I was born in North Yorkshire England. Weather wet, windy with intermittent sun and fog, LOL. My hubby says that the weather there is in my blood. I love walking in the rain. A hike in a foggy meadow or forest, you see so many things differently, calmer. One of the first things I like to do when back home is to put my feet in the North sea (even winter) and feel that cold salty air around me.

Summer is way overrated, LOL

I agree with you guyz ( travelnutz and loulou ) I'm so tired of balmy-hot-sunny days.
I really wish it would cloud up here and do something.

Here it's Summer to a springlike Fall then back to Spring then Summer.
We don't have Winter here :(

Born and raised in snow and loved it as a kid.
Then I started driving then learned to hate it.
Heat just doesn't agree with me anymore so now I miss snow.

Ah well...never happy...

85+ degrees F or higher outside at any time during the calendar year is simply sickening. Constant sweating sucks big time! Too hot to do anything but hide in the A/C cooled indoors like a trapped or jailed animal. However, you can always dress to be extremely comfortable in about any cold temps regardless if there's snow or not. Having snow also just adds another dimention to the outdoor fun you can enjoy and we're 72 years old. Cold and snow makes life interesting and fun but hot sweaty or very high humidity weather and cold rainy weather, especially if it's windy and/or foggy, puts the damper instantly on nearly all outdoor enjoyment.

Sadly I am one who would not move to AZ...I detest summer, my least favourite season. I get sunstroke very easily now. I get chills, runny nose, cramps and burn with a good sunscreen when out in the sun, LOL

I do enjoy all the summer activities on the lake or camping. I just cover up, wear a lge hat, carry kleenex (lots) and drink gallons of water. I really prefer to enjoy the activities in the spring or fall.

If I want to see snow I will google it.
