We FTd for 7 yrs...........set up 5rv every week or so
I'm lazy......I like simple and don't like having to get down on my bad knees
I carried 2 boards
1 was 2 X 10 X 52 (going form memory----but it would slip in bed of truck side to side just in front of 5rv hitch)----ends where cut at an angle
1 was 2 X 10 X 48 and ends when cut at an angle
I would pull in/back in to a site where I wanted 5vr........with the large level on pin box I could tell which side was low and by how much.
I would then lay down longest board (or both boards depending on how low) next to tires.........pull rig away to clear end of boards. Slide boards over then park 5vr on top of boards.
IF 2 boards were not enough I would be looking for a different site/ area in site etc.
2 boards was all I would use.....that's 3"
When braking camp..I'd pull off boards and stow across truck bed in front o hitch.
After 3-4 yrs. Cut couple new ones if old were cracking.
