Please don't do it at a campground...if people keep doing that, then it will leave a lot of holes (because some will never fill them back in), depressions and etc.... They will hold water when it rains, make it harder for others to level and could be a walking hazard.... And the holes that are filled back in will be soft and make it difficult to get a good level.
That is why some of the more popular boondocking sites look like battlefields with bomb craters. What ever happened to Leave No Trace?
