A 1-Ton, probably not, but there are a bunch of states (54 according to some politicians), and I don't know about all of them.

You might think that but that doesn't mean it's true. It only means that's what you think. Assuming something without knowing facts doesn't make it true. Many states register 2nd division vehicles by weight. (Second Division definition from the fed statute: Those vehicles which are designed for carrying more than 10 persons, those designed or used for living quarters and those vehicles which are designed for pulling or carrying property, freight or cargo, those motor vehicles of the First Division remodelled for use and used as motor vehicles of the Second Division, and those motor vehicles of the First Division used and registered as school buses.)
