As much as the thought of the electric fence and fish hooks makes me giggle, chesterb's suggestion of the clear cap and twist on valve is probably your smartest move.
I have the twist on valve on mine as I have a leaking gray water valve. In addition, my valves are in the locking basement(which unfortunately the OP does not have), so I can leave my basement locked and still can make use of a honey wagon service when needed.
