KZ also makes a nicer (fiberglass) trailer under 3500 lbs with a slide. I don't own one, but when I was researching the exact same thing as you (trailers under 3500 lb), that's the one I settled on. It's called the Spree Escape 200s. Obviously it's a lightweight (maybe a bit cheapy model), but you get a lot of travel for a 3500 gvwr.
