Looking for Tub/Shower Curtain Ideas

We have a small tub/shower in out Keystone Premier 19fbpr. The shower curtain really sucks. I am looking at upgrading to a folding or retractable trac door? Has anyone upgraded their curtain.

I would also be interested if you found someway to make the existing shower curtain a little more effective to keep the water inside the shower.

Pictures?

  • What year is your Premier? We have a later 2013 and we love our shower curtain. It is cloth rather than plastic so it does not stick to you and it is not as cold as plastic. It keeps the water in fine as long as you don't point the sprayer directly at it. In 3 years, have never had water outside the tub. I am a big guy so having any type of solid door would make the shower too tight for me.
  • Get a shower curtain liner. Its basically a shower curtain without the decorations. Attach it to same rings as the shower curtain. The shower curtain stays on the outside of the tub and the liner stays on the inside. I don't know the physics, but when the shower is on, the air pressure inside the tub is lower than the pressure outside the tub, so the single curtain gets pulled toward the stream of water - and you. Try it. You don't even have to be in the shower to test it.
  • For previous posts search this Forum for `shower curtain' then possibly search the results for `folding' or `door'.
  • when my old TT had a curtain I went to wally world and got a spring loaded shower rod and placed it down low to hold the curtain in place. worked great for us.
