when fueling up with gas at the above truck stop, how do you get to the RV lanes while pulling a 35 ft TT. that is still some thing that bothers me of getting in and out of these fueling stations with such a long combination. seems I have been in some of these truck stops that they have cars parked in front of the building with people going inside for food and I know there is no way I can get in and out making a sharp turn left or right. even the shell station in Ely Nv will be tricky. I know there is a place north of the town of Ely that has no canopy but has pumps out in the open. don't know if the price of gas there is out of the question or not. any one have answers to my concerns?

Sometimes there might not be an easy solution and go on to the next stop. But when we had the 35'TT and crew cab f250, I would stick to the outside pumps if possible. If I felt I would not be able to pull out without having an Austin Powers golf cart moment, then I wouldn't stop there.

Never found any RV lanes at a Loves.Only FJ has them, and some of them can be a PTA to get in and out.

The back-up PLAN B for me would be to pull-off and Drop the RV trailer then go on in with the truck and fill-up. I always have an extra 5-gallons on-board but if you are getting 6-8MPG that really isn't much fuel to get you down the road very far to look for another fuel station...

I do the same with my motorhome. I would never try to push it like that.

I never fuel up with trailer (5er) intow. I do it the night before. I have an 800 mile towing range

I've used that Shell at the north side of Ely several times with a 36 foot motorhome + toad, at the outside pump. Don't recall it being s problem.

Generally when traveling I look for a truck stop and fill up with the big boys. Some of them give me the truckers price. I do hate Loves as been in them without a way out. In one case had to wait till both inside pumps were open to "get the angle" so we could leave. The guy next to me had a Class A and had to drop his toad in a neighboring lot so he could fill up!

The price is never out of the question when being able to fuel without taking out part of the building is an issue. I prefer to stay away from major urban truck stops and their so-called "RV" pumps.

Since we're coming from the north, we always stop @ sam's club on craig road to fill up with diesel. No problem getting in or out & we park over in their lot after to shop. One trick with sams club is to purchase a $500.00 gift card inside & use that at the pumps as there is no $ limit like when using a credit card. A fill up for us is around $160.00 so we use the card up over the winter while we're down there. There is diesel available from them at Palm Springs, Yuma & Bullhead City. YMMV.

I don't know that station, but I have been at other Loves and stations with RV lanes. Usually the RV lanes are at the outside of the pump island with a path to go around the building when you leave or a wide enough area between the store and the pumps to make the turn even if cars are parked in front of the store.

It may look tight but there is room

There are a couple stations in Ely that are easy to get through. One is at the north end and the other about half way throgh to the light. I stop in Ash Springs and fill up and bypass filling in Vegas. Also there is a new station at 93 and 15 before you get to Vegas.
