I have to agree that we see a lot of Camping World/Good Sam bashing that is unnecessary. I don't mind the post that says, "hey I had a problem with ..." Camping World and Good Sam does make mistakes, but sometimes they are great companies too.
I have not bought an RV from them, nor had service done by them because they just aren't convenient to me. I do like the fact that I can drive approx 100 miles and see numerous products that I have been considering and pick up what I want. I also sometimes find things I didn't know I needed. I use their Roadside assistance as it was the best fit for what I need. I do understand when I call, that sometimes it is hard to find a tow truck close and it could take several hours for assistance to arrive, but I am willing to pay the relatively small amount each year to let them do the work of finding someone. I can deal with other things while they find me help with my vehicle.
I think sometimes people want to get something of their chest, just need the forum to listen and I am okay with that. However, those that consider CW/GS to be some EVIL COMPLEX whose whole purpose is to make RVers miserable or pay too much should find another venue to spill their venom.
