Max Fan will not turn on no humming either

A point here- are we talking about Maxxair fans or Fantastic Vent fans? On Fantastic vent fans the plunger is nearly always the problem. Maxxair vents are oddballs- I've never actually seen one.

Just phone Max air for a new plunger switch.It solved my problem quickly.Tried dealers ,and they do not carry.

Max Air sent us the repair parts under warranty.

Got a response from MaxAir - Will need to first find out if power is coming into the fan, if there isn't they said it is probably the control panel which they will send another one to me. There are 2 possibilities to turn it on using the on/off button or turn it on by using the thermostat control button. Neither one will turn it on.

It is a manual deluxe model (no remote) Going to check for incoming power but have to get a tester somewhere first. Hopefullly it is just the electronic board and we can replace that ourselves (I think LOL)

Thanks for all your suggestions, I have tried them all. I was hoping there would be a fuse, but no luck.

Hooked up? Don't laugh. RV builders do dumb things. Had a solar panel. Noticed that it was not producing power. Well of course not. The idiots had not put a controller between the panel & batterys. Loose wires hanging in the basement.

If you rule out the temp being to cold for the thermostat to turn it on I would go with this. We have a fantastic fan in the bathroom that does not have a thermostat. Every once in a while when I open it I have to go up on the roof and mess with the plunger switch to get it to turn on. One of these days I will just replace the switch. Those vent fans get a lot of moisture up in there. This time of year the furnace running will create even more moisture.
