Manual trans = Yes. Automatic Trans = No.

I have towed a 2000 over 35,000 miles and 2 late models over 30,000 miles.

If the Owner's Manual says "NO", and you tow it anyway, when something goes wrong guess who pays for the repair?
Yes, people have towed them, apparently with few or no problems.
It is, after all, your vehicle. Therefore it is your choice. Good luck.

There are a number of members who tow them. Standard Shift versions only. Not sure about the most recent model years though. What year do you have?
