how do you find a good canidain pharmacy that can be trusted i have heard there are some phony ones out there

  • Years ago when I needed a drug not available in the US my specialist here sent me to a doctor in Canada who gave me a prescription and I took it to a pharmacy there. After the first time they mailed them to me.
It was years before it was approved for use in the US and by that time I was better.
Nothing shady about the pharmacy I went to.
  • I think that the "phony" ones offer drugs that are directly shipped from overseas/third world manufacturers that have not been subjected to the NDA process or FDA inspection. Having inspected firm's in Egypt, India, and Mexico I wouldn't trust them if the dosage is critical.

I dunno about Canadian pharmacies in particular, but I have had good results from online pharmacies. Some require a prescription and some don't. Sometimes the meds you want are OTC in their country.

Others have already answered your question. I just want to point out that if you spend any time in Arizona... or even Southern California, it might well be worth your while to hop across the border to such places as Algodones, Mexico. They will honor your prescriptions no questions asked...and the prices are unbelievably low.

PS: Howdy neighbor ... from a neighbor 55 miles to the west of you....
you must be on or close to florence

  • Canadian pharmacies do not fill American doctors prescriptions. You will need to be examined and prescribed by a Canadian doctor.
Anyway that's what I had to do.
  • I would not try to get prescription drugs in Canada. Have your Dr. give you a vacation refill before you leave.
Many drugs can be prescribed in a 90 day supply.
