I couldn't remember when I wrote the above if the neutral and ground should be bonded or not in an RV panel. After further reading, they should not be bonded inside the RV. I suspect either in your panel or at your generator, the nuetral and ground have been bonded. Couple this with a reverse polarity plug and a broken ground either in your rig or the pedastle and you have hot skin.

Check this thread out for more details. Dogs are especially prone to injury because they don't wear shoes like we do which can offer humans some protection, hit or miss.
RV'S are supposed to have a "floating neutral". If you aren't good with electricity, get an electrician to check you rig and make sure he's familiar with the floating nuetral concept.
