I do not like a meatal cord body in outdoor wet or damp locations.
Do you have a genset?
Do you have a transfer switch or do you plug it into a genset receptacle in the compartment?
The genset would normally have the ground and neutral bonded as the generator becomes the power source. Shore power, neutral and ground have a main bonding jumper at the service equipment.
