I've used mothballs to keep mice out. I put 1/2 dozen on each jack foot and more around the tires. I put them around or on anything touching the ground. If I move the unit I use gloves to pick them up and put in a zip lock bag for reuse.
I have not had a problem since.
Of course, sealing all holes you find is a given.
