I have a couple of cats that stay in my garage and I haven't had any mouse problems in years. The one time I did they had climbed into the trunk of my Mustang GT and built a nest. I put a box of D-Con on top of each tire and inside the trunk and after a couple of days the mice disappeared and never returned. This was before I got the cats however and now they keep my property totally clear of vermin.
