Do you take any preventative meds? There are several. There are also some meds you can take to "break" a migraine. If you're having migraines several times a month, you might want to talk to your doctor about a preventative.
I have occasional migraines, so I don't take meds. I'm allergic to Advil, sadly, so I take Tylenol, if I can get it down before the vomiting starts. Mine start like a hatchet to the top of my head, almost like a seizure. It is stunning. Sometimes nothing helps but going to bed in a darkened room with an ice pack on my head and a bucket nearby. My migraines come with a side of vertigo--yay. Not. Thankfully, I only have them every few months. And yes, sometimes weather is a factor.
