- lfcjaspExplorerDH is retired from the Navy; I was in until we learned we had little one on the way. Figured one in the Navy and deployable was quite enough. We hope to be retired state employees within two years:)
- Beltone_MagooExplorerU S Navy 1957-1961. AT2. Was in VW-14 and AEWBARRONPAC. Based At Barbers Point, Hawaii and Midway Island. Spent a couple of thousand hours flying around in Willy Victors (radar Super Constellation) on the Pacific Barrier. Still dizzy from all the circles but would do it all again.
Son also was in USN for 4 years as AT3.
Thanks to all who served! - lakeside013104ExplorerDrafted Sept 1969, ended up in USMC because they needed a few good men. Separated active duty in Sept 1971, then 4 years inactive USMC reserve. Honorable discharge. Semper Fi.
