It's funny how you can remember EXACTLY how long you were in.
USN: 10 yrs, 11 mos, 26 days
USNR: 14yrs, but only 9 yrs and 6 days that counted
I left the day they said I had my 20. Now I look back fondly (mostly), and would love a redo or two.
Bravo Zulu to one and all of my fellow vets! And GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY! :B

Question for those who know a lot more about this than I. I am trying to get info on Army sites with no luck. I am looking for any suggestions on where to go on the net when all I have is a name and KIA in France a month or so after D Day. Thanks

Most other RV forums have a specific section for military.
Pearl Harbor day seems like a good time to see who out here has a military background.
So, if you please, reply with your branch and current status:
For myself, I'm a Navy veteran and retired Navy DoD
Hubby is retired Navy and retired Navy DoD
Together we have over 70 years of military service. - 2milesupExplorer IIRetired USAF 1977 - 2001. Williams AFB AZ, Hill AFB UT, Kunsan AB Korea, Cannon AFB NM, Travis AFB CA, Sheppard AFB TX, Lackland AFB (Wilford Hall Med Ctr) TX.
