Thought I'd let you helpful posters know the problem was the right side motor. Had it repaired by a mobile tech (Kurt) while staying at Happy Traveler RV Park in Thonotosassa.
Generally that condition is caused by the motors getting out of sync. That's the result of not continuing to hold down the extend or retract button for about 5 seconds after the slide has stopped moving. And you never want to stop that type of slide in the middle of its travel.
