Monterey County, CA parks need park hosts

Friendly volunteers needed in beautiful Monterey County Parks for spring and summer (Toro and Royal Oaks). 20 hours for single, 30 for couple, 3 to 6 month commitment, full hookups provided. Duties include fee collection booth, minor maintenance, lawn care, trail maintenance, vehicle and equipment furnished.
Volunteers needed immediately for Jack's Peak, a primitive park. Water and sewer available for host, limited electricity by generator provided. You must provide DMV printout with application. For general questions and information email Jim at 2ftaway@gmail.com.

  • These are day use parks that have rv sites for the park hosts. There are parks that offer camping like Laguna Seca, look at Monterey County parks website
  • Jack’s Peak, Royal Oaks and Toro are NOT open for RV camping, correct? So these are just jobs, not camping opportunities, correct? Time for Monterey County to step up.
